The Global Talent Platform from Mawhiba
To thrive through and after higher education, gifted individuals need specialist knowledge, skills, and support. Too often, those things are not available in academic institutions or the workplace. We created Mawhiba Metaminds to fill that gap; helping gifted students and young professionals connect, collaborate, and create personalized L&D paths so they can excel on their journey.
Our Story
How can young, talented individuals overcome their limitations, meet like-minded people, and bring their gifts to the world?
How can universities and businesses nurture and attract these individuals while harnessing their collective intelligence? These are some of the broader challenges that inspired the creation of Mawhiba Metaminds, a project first unveiled at the Global Conference of Giftedness and Creativity in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, in 2022. The goal was clear: to create a global talent platform that unites and empowers the brightest minds.
Over the course of three days, 100 students from around the world took part in a high intensity ideathon to tackle important problems related to building a global talent platform.
Drawing on their diverse backgrounds and skills, these young innovators addressed issues such as talent development, collective intelligence, sustainability, advanced technology, and governance. Their ideas laid the foundation for what would become Mawhiba Metaminds.
This is the first iteration of that platform. We’re open for business and welcoming talent and partners from around the world. But we’re still on a journey of discovery and growth. We’re excited to keep learning as we push our limits to address society’s most pressing challenges.
